Usage of Computer RAM
Computer RAM is one of the integral parts in a computer and it aids in the smooth functioning of the system. All the files of operating system are copied to RAM during the booting process while the operating system is loaded with the RAM. RAM or the random access memory has many types and variations. Different computers use different computer RAMs. SDARM is one of the generations of computers RAMs.
But it is a slow computer RAM n comparison to some of the latest computer RAMs. The latest computer RAMS are more reliable as well. The computer RAM is the volatile memory of the computer and it goes off as soon as the power is cut. The main function of computer RAM is to store the information that is to be processed by the computer. The computer RAM stores the information on cells arranged in a grid format. This grid is similar to a spreadsheet that stores data in rows and columns.
The processor of the computer accesses this information at random. The information accessed is as per the requirement of the software being run on the computer. The latest computers have either 1 GB or 2 GB of computer RAM, which may be too much for personal use. The users may not be able to utilize the full potential of computer RAM. Large companies that work on heavy files and multiple applications at the same time usually have 4 GB or 8 GB of RAM. Such companies use servers for faster data transfer rather than PC RAM.
